hi, i am Art!
certified ayurvedic counselor · yoga teacher · lifelong student of embodied care
i came to ayurveda through a lifelong desire to understand what helps us feel at home in ourselves.

my path has moved through nursing, psychology, yoga, herbal medicine, and years of listening closely to the body.
each offered a different way of understanding human life. ayurveda brought them into relationship. it gave language to something i had sensed for a long time: that care is most meaningful when the body, mind, spirit, and daily life are tended together.
tend grew from a simple belief: care does not have to be complicated to be profound.
it can live in the oil we place on the skin, the meal we prepare, the rhythm of a morning, or the moment we pause long enough to hear what the body has been saying.
i created tend to make ayurveda practical, personal, and alive in everyday life.
i offer personalized ayurvedic consultations, handcraft daily care, and write a weekly newsletter exploring seasonal practices, recipes, and the art of living with greater clarity.

personalized skincare
my work is rooted in attentive listening, classical ayurvedic study, and respect for each person’s particular nature. every formulation is made by me in small batches with organic oils, herbs, and plant-based ingredients.

art of tending newsletter
every sunday, i write one letter for people who want ayurveda to become a
way of living, not another set of rules. seasonal recipes. practical
rituals. honest reflections on tending your body and life with greater
clarity, steadiness, and vitality. if you are learning to live what you
already know, you are welcome here.
whether we meet through a consultation, something made by hand, or words shared each week, the intention is the same: less excess, more clarity, and care that can be lived.
you do not need to become someone new.
sometimes, care begins by returning to what your body already knows.
